Landsby is a new, mixed-use urban neighborhood in the heart of Mountain View, featuring four unique buildings and offering a distinct mix of modern apartment homes. The 632-unit development contains over an acre of public open space including plazas, promenades, and a large central open space. The design of each building has been conceived to establish a unique character to appeal to a diverse range of residents.

Parcel B, Serramonte Del Rey, Daly City

Parcel B is the second phase of the Serramonte Del Rey development and consists of a mixed-use building with 201 residential units and approximately 8,000 square feet of retail space. The project will also include three components of open space to be used by the public.

Bay Street Apartments, San Francisco

Bay Street Apartments, San Francisco

Located on a former Chevron gas station site in San Francisco’s Marina district, this residential project is adjacent to the historic Gas Light building, originally owned by PG&E. The design takes its cues from the neighborhood context with a brick exterior, while incorporating modern glass bay windows that project from the rhythmic masonry masses. The large, glazed openings take advantage of views to the city park across Bay Street, as well as views to the Bay at the building’s top floor.

This high density 193-unit apartment building creates a lively urban frontage of staggered multi-colored architectural volumes. Street level loft units, the lobby, ad retail storefronts enliven the pedestrian experience. The design challenge of this project was to create an active pedestrian environment at ground level while also accommodating a parking program above grade due to Mission Bay water table and soil conditions.
